Halloween!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share with you guys my Halloween costume that I wore to a little Halloween party this past weekend.

It was very last minute so I didn't really have time to go out and get an actual costume. Things didn't go as planned but oh well haha!

So, I wanted to be a "Masked Vampire". I went ahead and bought some vampire teeth and a mask and decided to wear a black dress, fishnets and boots.

The problem was that my Vampire teeth did not want to cooperate with me :( I had to go to the party without the fangs because they wouldn't stick to my teeth! They were supposed to be like dentures and stick to your teeth but I guess I bought some old ones.

So, this is what I ended up wearing: (would have been so much cooler if I had my fangs!)

Masked Vampire with no teeth :/ haha
I was supposed to look scary but that didn't happen! No Vampire teeth :(
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and my lame Halloween costume! haha I will hopefully do better next year! :)

Don't forget to ENTER MY GIVEAWAY! Ends in 13 days!

Let me know what you're dressing up as for Halloween (if you are)!

Have an awesome day/night everyone :))

My Hair Color!

Hi guys!

So I just colored my hair today because it was starting to look a little flat and just blah. It definitely needed a boost! So I though, why not share with you guys the color I have been using these past times I've colored my hair.

Now, I usually color my hair about every 3 months. I like my hair quite dark but not black. My natural hair color is a dark blonde (I think haha!) I have been coloring my hair since I was 15.

Ok, so since I usually do my own hair I wanted to use something really simple and easy to apply. That is why I chose Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Foam in the color Iced Mahogany Dark Brown 4IM

I really like this color. It turns a little too dark on my hair but that is because it is already dark to begin with when I color it so adding more dark to it just darkens it. But that is ok because it starts fading into a nice dark brown color after a couple of washes :)

So this color is Permanent and it has triple fruit oils - avocado, olive & shea. This leaves my hair really soft and smooth.

What's Inside:
  • Liquid-to-foam developer
  • Liquid-to-foam colorant
  • Nourishing avocado, olive & shea oil conditioner
  • Easy-to-use foaming pump
  • Instruction sheet
  • Easy-fit, PVC-free gloves
It is super easy to use. You just mix the color with the developer in the bottle that comes with a pump. After that all you need to do is pump out the color in your hands (not directly on the hair) and put it all over your hair :) Leave it for 25 minutes, then go rinse, condition, rinse again and you are done!

It looks a little darker in these pics because I literally just took these but it will lighten up in a couple of washes :)
This is what it looks like when the sun hits it, so you see is not Black :)
I didn't do anything to my hair in these pictures so sorry of it looks a hot mess haha!! I just put some Mousse in it.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I actually really like this brand and the foam version is super easy to use for someone who is doing their own hair. It might not be for everyone but I love it!

Let me know if you color your hair and if you do it yourself, what brand do you use?

Thank you so much for reading and please don't forget to enter my GIVEAWAY to win a Forever 21 Cross Body Bag and a Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain :)

Have an awesome day everyone!

Fall Fashion: Serena Van Der Woodsen (Part 1)

Hi guys!

Today will be another "Get the Look" post but this time it is all about Fall Fashion and how to look stylish and chic during fall. As an inspiration, I picked Blake Lively's character in the TV series Gossip Girl: Serena Van Der Woodsen. I think her character has such an amazing style and she always looks so put together!

So, if you want to know how and where to get Serena's look for Fall for an affordable price then just keep reading :)

I picked 4 looks for Part 1 of the Serena Van Der Woodsen Fall Style Series. Enjoy!

1. This look is super chic and consists of a simple (super low) V-neck shirt, a beautifully fitted striped blazer, a pair of jeans, tall black boots, and a super cute forest green bag. You can wear this look out on the town or on a date :) She is not really wearing any jewelry which makes this look quite casual.

2. I think this is a great fall look especially if you add a jacket or blazer on top for when it is a little bit more chilly outside. This look can be worn everywhere, from a party, to out with friends, to a date or out shopping and I think even to work :)

Kristen Stewart's/Bella Swan: Casual Style

Hi guys!

So a couple of weeks (maybe a month) ago I did a Kristen Stewart style post. It focused on her red carpet/dressy style. You can check it out HERE. I promised that I will do a post that will show her more casual style and also a look into her character Bella Swan that she portrays in the movie Twilight. Well, here it finally is! hahaha! Sorry it took so long! I kind of got side tracked with everything else.

Casual/Street Style

Kristen's casual/street style is not super hard to achieve. Her staples are a nice pair of skinny jeans, a simple top (loose enough that you can tie on the side), and a pair of sneakers or flats. Sometimes she wears a hat or a jacket if it is colder.

In this first picture as you can see, she is wearing a lot of printed shirts, hoodies, sneakers, flats and even a nice blazer. Her skinny jeans are super simple in neutral colors. She looks really effortless.

Here, she is wearing a much more simple look with skinny jeans as always, a black or grey top, and sneakers, oxfords or heels

 Casual/Dressy Style

In this collage she is wearing casual clothes but a little bit more dressy. You can wear this type of look anywhere and turn it from casual to dressy just by adding heels or sneakers.

I really love these looks because they are bold and stylish but at the same time quite on the casual side

This jacket looks super cozy and brings this whole look together

Bella Swan Style

Bella's Style is a little bit like Kristen's style in real life. It is super simple and easy to achieve. She lives in a cold climate so she wears a lot of jackets, long sleeve shirts, simple jeans and sneakers. Layering is key to achieving Bella's look.
