First Outfit of the Day!

Hi everyone! 

I decided that I would do an outfit of the day today :) I don't have a lot of pictures because at first I wasn't going to do one but then I said why not? Haha! So here is what I wore today shopping and just having a nice day out with my boyfriend! 

I wore my shorts and cardigan that I featured in my last post :)

What I wore:

 A black cami (don't know the brand or how much it was but probably around $4.00)

Stripes Overload! Haul :)

Hi everyone!

A couple of days ago I went shopping with my sister and my mom :) We stopped by Ross and JC Penney and picked up a few things. I have to say, I picked up a lot of stripes haha! You will see soon.

Everything I bought!

So as you can see I bought a variety of clothing. I did get shorts, even though it is almost September, Texas is still burning up haha! I also bought a light sweater and a cardigan, two shirts and a spaghetti strap shirt for layering :)

1. Shorts

I love these shorts! The colors are super bright and fun! They were on sale for $5.00 which I thought was a great bargain! I purchased them from JCPenney

2. Shirts

Arizona Pink Shirt $2.00; Spaghetti Strap Shirt $4.99; Splash Striped tee $4.99

The pink shirt was purchased from JC Penney and the other two were purchased from Ross. I don't always like Ross but sometimes I find some really cute clothes for a very low price. Who doesn't love a bargain? So these are pretty basic tops but I am all about basics for everyday use :)

3. Sweaters/Cardigans

Pink Rose Cardigan $13.00; Splash Long Sleeve Tee $7.99; Timing Pink Sweater $12.99

All of these were purchased from Ross as well. As you can see they were really cheap but at the same time really cute :) I love the pink sweater!

I think all of these tops would be great for school :) And do not worry, I don't wear stripes everyday haha! It just happened that I picked up a lot of them that day :)

Top 3 Favorite Blogs/YouTube channels

Hi everyone!

I know I am a fairly new blogger but that doesn't mean I haven't been reading others blogs way before I decided to start my own. Today, I decided to talk about my top three favorite bloggers/YouTubers. They have inspired me to start my own blog and hopefully I will be as successful as them one day :) (one can only hope)

So let's get started!

1. Tanya Burr 

The first person that I have ever watched on YouTube or read their blog was Tanya Burr or pixi2woo (on YouTube). She is the most likeable person ever. She lives in the UK and has an adorable accent. She does the most amazing makeup tutorials and writes great informative blogs about products she is loving and other things as well. She has tons of followers and fans who love her. It does not hurt that she is also beautiful :) Tanya will most definitely capture your attention and you will never get tired of watching her tutorials or reading her blog. Tanya also has a Vlog channel on youtube where she features Outfits of the Days and A Day in the Life type of videos.

 2. Fleur De Force

The second person that I watch and read their blog on a regular basis is Fleur De Force. She also lives in the UK just like Tanya. She has a great personality and will keep you interested in whatever she is talking about. Her blog is AMAZING! She takes the most awesome pictures and gives great reviews of products. She is also very pretty and very girly :) Her youtube channel is mostly reviews, hauls, makeup tutorials and OOTDs (outfits if the day). She has two more channels: her vlog channel where she does a lot of miscellaneous videos and Day in the Life type of videos and also her brand new Bridal channel. She recently got engaged and made a whole new channel where she talks about everything that is wedding related. Check her out! She is pretty amazing!

3. Anna Saccone

The third person that I am currently following is Anna Saccone. She is a an amazing girl just like the other two mentioned above. Her videos are so cool! They range from outfits of the day, to makeup tutorials to what her diet is like and all the way to maternity videos (since she is currently pregnant). I love watching her videos because they are super entertaining. She lives in Ireland with her husband and they do have a vlog channel where they post a video every single day :) Her blog is pretty amazing as well. She has so much information about everything! She features her outfits of the day, her makeup, her baby bump updates, her diet, her hair care routines and so much more. So check her out!

My Designs

Hi everyone!

Today I decided to share with you guys some of my designs that I designed while I was in school. These are part of my senior collection. I studied fashion design for four years and recently graduated with a bachelors degree.

While viewing these pictures keep in mind that this photoshoot took place at my school, not in a professional photo studio. All of these dresses were made by me during this past spring semester. They were for a specific class, for a grade, and at the end of the year they were showcased in a fashion show.

One of my favorite movies!

Hey everyone! 

Today is a pretty gloomy day, which made me think about one of my all time favorite movie. It's not exactly only one movie but an entire saga and that is the Twilight Saga. I fell in love with Twilight ever since the first movie came out. I loved that it was so simple and not CGIed. It had such and indie feel about it that I loved. It just seemed really pure and had beautiful imagery and a romantic story that a lot of people fell in love with. The rest of the movies that are part of the saga are all amazing as well :) I can watch them a million times and never get bored of them.  

I decided to share with you guys one of my favorite songs from the first Twilight film. It is the Perfect song to listen to while you are relaxing on a cloudy day like this. Or even better, watch the movie cuddled under some blankets with a nice cup of tea haha! (if u want to ;) )

Victoria's Secret Make-up

Hi everyone!

A couple of days ago I went by a Victoria's Secret store because I wanted to purchase a new bronzer. While there, I also picked up "The Nakeds" palette and a lip gloss so I decided to write a little post about it :)

The Nakeds Palette, Color Drama Lip Shine, Baked Mineral Bronzing Powder

1. The Nakeds Palette
I decided to give this palette a try because the color selection is amazing and reminds me of The Naked Palette by Urban Decay. I don't own The Naked Palette but I would definitely love to since I've heard great things about it. In the meantime, I will be using this. :)

The packaging is pretty and very easy to manage

The Victoria's Secret website describes this palette as a versatile eyeshadow palette that has "everything you need to create the sexiest neutral eye looks of the season".

The palette includes 10 eyeshadows that range from "subtle earth tones and muted pastels to smoky gray and shimmery black". It also comes with a great black eyeliner and a dual ended brush.

The palette also comes with step by step instructions on how to get the Barely Naked and Seductively Naked looks.





 I really like this palette. The colors are very pigmented and you can create different looks with it. It is the perfect palette to create an everyday look but also a sexy smokey eye for a night out.

2. Color Drama Lip Shine

This lip gloss gives a little bit of color and a lot of shine. I really like it, as it leaves my lips soft and looking luscious.  They have a wide variety of shades to choose from. This particular one that I have is a pale pink color which I think compliments a lot of skin tones and is great to wear everyday on its own or on top of a lipstick.
I don't know exactly what shade it is since it doesn't say on the actual lipgloss but I think it's the color "Pinup".

The gloss is $9.00 or 2/$15 or 4/$20 which I think is a great deal:)

3. Baked Mineral Bronzing Powder

"Bask in a bronze glow. Skin-loving mineral powders blend in a unique marbleized finish to give skin an instantly brightening touch of sun-kissed radiance." This is what the website says, which I agree with 100%. I really like this bronzer. A little goes a long way. It leaves your skin looking glowy and bronzed. The shade I have is Goddess which I think is one of the darker shades.

Like I said, the color is beautiful and the packaging, even though it's plastic, it looks quite expensive. I like it because it's really light and easy to carry around with you in a handbag.

The cost is $16.00


All in all, I think VS makeup is quite good in general. Some of the stuff is not always great but these products are pretty amazing and I'm glad I purchased them. How to get Nina's Evening Look

Hi guys!

So today I am going to talk about how to get Nina Dobrev's evening look. As I was browsing through some pictures of her on the internet, I noticed that she wears a lot of simple dresses even for evening. She does wear some really stunning gowns at times though. The dresses range from short, cocktail dresses to long, dramatic ones. I am going to show you guys a few of her looks and show you how you can look like that by wearing similar things that are more affordable. :))

This is the look that Nina wore to the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. It is a pretty simple, form flattering cocktail dress. It was a litle hard to find a dress that looks similar but I did find a few that are inspired by the look. You can wear this dress to a party, homecoming or even a wedding.

Miley Cyrus's New Hairstyle!!

Hi guys!

Sooo, this post is dedicated to Miley Cyrus's new hairstyle haha! You might think I'm crazy but I am a big fan of Miley and when I woke up this morning and checked the "news" as I like to call it (celebrity news) haha, there it was! Miley Cyrus's new hairstyle! I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit shocked but after awhile I guess you get used to it. I love long hair though, so for me, this is not the best style in the world. She looks good though.
