Home Decor: Shabby Chic

Hi Guys!

I have been obsessed lately with looking at home furnishings and all sorts of decorative ideas and stuff like that. At the moment I am renting an apartment so there's not a whole lot I can change but hopefully, in the future, I will be able to afford to buy a house and decorate it however I want to. I can definitely still decorate my apartment but can't really paint it or change the flooring or anything like that. I do want to redecorate my apartment but it requires lots of money and I do not have that at the moment. I can definitely buy at least one item at a time and build my decor collection little by little :)

Anyway, I have been loving the shabby chic look at the moment. I love all the antique looking furniture in the white, off white, pastel-y colors. I can look at pictures of shabby chic inspired rooms for forever! I also love the mix of shabby chic and modern pieces together. Here are a few images that inspire me to want to redecorate my apartment and also great ideas for when I get my own house!

I grabbed all of these images off of Google.

Kristen Stewart Sils Maria Premiere Look!

Hi guys!

If you have been following my blog for awhile you probably know I am a huge Kristen Stewart fan. Yesterday, her newest movie Clouds of Sils Maria, premiered in Cannes with amazing reviews!

I am super excited to watch that movie, but one thing that everyone is talking about is what Kristen wore! Amongst all the beautiful dresses, Kristen shined bright like a diamond :) She wore an amazing sparkly, sequin-y romper (or was it pants and a top) by Chanel Couture. Her nude Louboutin's were also amazing and so classy as always!

Her hair and makeup was kept pretty simple and that made her look really effortless. I love her red hair :))

Her co-stars also looked amazing!

Of course, after the festival, a girl's gotta eat! Heels can be quite annoying to walk in after a few hours, so of course Kristen opted for her sparkly Chanel sneakers (which is how the romper was shown on the runway) ;) Gotta love her for it!

If you want to also be sparkly (darker version) from head to toe try this romper from ASOS ($89.55)

or this other one from FRENCH CONNECTION ($99.99)

Here's the Trailer for Clouds of Sils Maria if you haven't seen it already :)

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what you thought of Kristen's look!
And....is that a tattoo on her arm?

Throwback Thursday in Romania!!

Hi guys!

I never really do any kind of Throwback Thursday, Flashback Friday posts. Today though, I was actually looking through some older pics and thought what the heck, why not? haha

So, if you are interested at all, here are a couple of pictures from back in 2008 when I went back to my home country, Romania. It was such a lovely time and my sister and our two best friends joined me. It was lots of fun seeing our family again and enjoying some time with them as well as friends.

I am planning on going again this year if I get the chance around September or next year. It's been too long!!

I love this pic of me and by bff :) Look at my hair!! Now it's way longer and dark!

All four of us going to see Draculas/Bran Castle

Healthy Breakfast!

Hi guys!

Today I want to show you all what I had for breakfast.

I had some instant oatmeal (the apple and cinnamon kind). I made it with 2% milk. I usually like to make it with almond milk but I was out of that. I just mixed the oatmeal and milk together and pooped it in the microwave for 2 minutes. After that I mixed it a bit more, added some extra cinnamon on top, and a few of the fruits I had in my fridge.

Today, I chopped up a few berries and half a banana and added a few blackberries :)

To go with that I drank my cup of coffee and a tall glass of water!

I usually like to make eggs in the morning (different variations) but was out of eggs and bread :( Oh well, that means I need to do a bit of grocery shopping! haha

What did you have for breakfast today?

RIMMEL STAY MATTE LIQUID MOUSSE FOUNDATION REVIEW

Hi guys!

Today I am going to share with you my thought on RIMMEL'S Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation.

I have been using it for a few months already (on and off) and have actually loved it.

The formula is intended for oily skin since it is a matte foundation. It claims to leave the skin feeling super soft and natural looking while keeping your face shine free. It definitely does that! It also claims to feel feather like and to blend flawlessly and not feel oily or greasy.

The texture is definitely very smooth and blends great on your skin. I apply it with my fingers all over my face. I do have combination skin, but when it gets closer to that time of the month is when my skin can get quite oily and this foundation keeps the oils at bay! It really does apply great and silky and feels really smooth on the skin.

Since I do have some dry patches, it does tend to stick a little bit to those but not in a very noticeable way. I don't use it every day, like I said I only use it when my skin is more on the oily side. You only need to apply a tiny bit! A little of this product goes a long way! It also lasts on the skin for quite some time! I would say about 12 hours. The coverage is medium to full, I would say, depending how much you apply and is very buildable.

The packaging is not the most luxurious but it is an affordable foundation (at $4.99 at ULTA). It comes in a squeezable tube which is ok. The tube is 1 fl. oz and that is actually a good amount considering how little of this you really need. It only comes in 8 shades, I don't feel like there are enough darker shades but it is a good variety.

Overall, it is a great foundation and I would recommend it to anybody who has oily/combination skin.My shade is 091 Light Ivory as I am quite pale at the moment.

Let me know in the comments below if you have ever tried this foundation and what your thoughts were on it!

Adela

Nina Dobrev Looks

Hi guys!

Today is another Nina Dobrev post! I am so obsessed with her right now! The Vampire Diaries finale happened a few days ago and I just can't wait until the next season. If you guys watched the season finale, what did you think of it? I thought it was crazy!!

Anyway, here are a few looks that miss Nina has been sporting these past couple of weeks. Enjoy!

I love this look the best! Dress is stylish, classic and looks great on her body and the shoes and bag add a perfect touch!

Umm does everyone absolutely love that hairstyle! It's amazing! That Elsa has sure influenced celebrity hairstyles :)

She literally looks like a doll don't you agree?

Love that neckline and the hair is so sweet :)

Look who went ombre! Love it on her even though it is for a character she plays
Which look is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below :)
